On the Imperial Class Star Destroyer known as The Order a single Shadow Stormtrooper sits down in the cafeteria and looks at the reflection of himself on his helmet. He rotates the helmet to focus on his scar across his left eye, brown hair, and his eyes, as if he's lost in deep thought.
"Hey Lazlen," another Shadow Stormtrooper shouts. Lazlen looks at the other trooper and turns his body around to face him.
"Trew," Lazlen replied back.
"Just got back from a containment operation from Yerru, a lot rebels. Wait, there were a lot of rebels."
"They're all dead?" Lazeln questioned, almost as if he was shocked by the news.
"No. No. Most are still alive. All you need to do with those kind of people is just kill their leader and BOOM..... everything back to normal. What about you? Are you getting deployed?"
"Commander Fretner's got a mission for me. I'm supposed to meet him on the bridge soon."
"Keeping Fretner waiting?"
"He's just getting the details for the mission. Personally I think he'd rather send an Inquisitor to do this than a Shadow Stormtrooer."
"Hey!" Trew remarked offensively. " We're just as good as those 'Shady Servants'."
"Maybe. Nah hell who cares? We're here. They're not."
Trew smiles humorously. "That's the spirit! So anyone going with you?"
"I don't know, he's hasn't said anything remember?"
"oh, yeah. You know sometimes I just ramble on and don't think-"
"Yeah. I know." Lazlen interrupted. He gave a sanctifying smile."
"Well hope your proud of that one. That's probably the last one you'll ever say before you die."
"You have no faith in me? Not even after Onderon?"
"Hey relax. It was a joke. Get it? It was just like yours: not funny."
"Lieutenant Lazlen." A over of the intercom demanded. "Lieutenant Lazlen you are to report to the bridge at one." The voice stops and the intercom stays silent.
"Well." Lazlen grunts as he gets up from the table. "Time for me to serve the Empire."
"Well good luck Laz." Trew encouraged.
"Yeah. Maybe when I'm down there I'll bring you a souvenir."
"Looking forward to it."

Atridian, Yara, and Zillo team exit the hangar and move onto the packed streets; a pack of Jawas follow alongside Atridian, chatting in their strange language and staring at him intently. They probably thought he was some kind of droid, which was an honest mistake to make given Atridian's very advanced suit. Still, Jawas annoyed him; Atridian reached down and grabbed one of the black-faced little creatures, who let out a torrent of cries as he was lifted up from the group. He twisted the creature with great force until the snap of its spine sounded, loud enough for everyone nearby to turn and look with horror. Atridian dropped the Jawas twisted little body onto the sand, sending up a brief spray of dust before quickly dissipating. He looked down at the rest of the Jawas, letting the faceless expression of his helmet terrify them even more; Atridian raised a hand at them and the group of Jawas immediately fled as fast as their legs could carry them.

"Guh. Jawas; good riddance, sir. They're nuisances at best, obstacles at worst," Arcade said, taking up position next to Atridian,"And if they become obstacles, then we remove them."

Atridian and his party continued to move through the streets as the crowd of multi-species aliens passed by them on all sides; a dark presence suddenly manifested in the force somewhere nearby. Atridian, hand on his lightsaber, stopped and looked for the source of the sudden dark presence; it was near and growing nearer, that much he could sense. It grew more and more until Atridian could feel the darkness right on top of him; his lightsaber came to life and he twisted left toward a random stranger in a long cloak. It sat just below the strangers chin and Atridian threw the hood back with a flick of his wrist; once he saw who was behind it, he knew exactly why he felt a darkness.

"A'den," Atridian hissed, seething rage as he stared at the giant T on a mandalorian helmet.

"Atridian! Long time, long time. How are things?" he replied through his helmet's speakers, composed but obviously nervous.

Atridian grabbed the man by his collar and dragged him into a nearby alley; A'den's head slammed into the sand before his body rolled a few times, kicking up dust and dirt before he stopped.

"Awwwww! Damnit! Kid, you really gotta work on your social skills. For starters, you don't assault an old buddy when you happen to run into him on the road," he picked himself up and dusted the dirt off his clothes.

Atridian was livid; he went to separate his head from his shoulders when Arcade moved in between him an A'den,"Sir, you aren't calm or composed right. You're acting impulsively; take a few moments and collect yourself before doing something else."

Atridian angrily paced back and forth, his eyes locked on A'den the entire time; he was a man who had once been like a brother to him. When he was first getting into the mercenary scene he had to rely on a lot of people to show him how things were done; one of them was a bounty hunter named A'den Jjar. Together, they made a pretty decent team, but that was before A'den sold him out to a bandit group for a huge sum of credits and sent him into an ambush. Atridian killed them of course, but he also swore that if he ever came across A'den again, he'd rip all of his internal organs out through his mouth.

"Give me one good reason I shouldn't rip you apart," Atridian was the embodiment of overflowing rage and vengeance as he spoke.

"I can give you five, buddy. One of which is related to your nice doctor friend standing back there," A'den said, pointing toward Yara.

Yara moved out from behind Nex and approached Atridian,"What do you know about her," Atridian growled.

"I know she worked with the kaminoans; I know she was involved with making the clones, and I also know she knows how to make more," A'den said, Atridian couldn't see his face, but he knew he was smiling underneath that helmet of his.]

Everyone suddenly turned in unison toward Yara, who was standing with a completely bewildered look on her face; everyone besides Atridian, he didn't take his eyes of A'den for a single second.

"What's this scumbag talking about, Yara?" Arcade asked.

For a few moments she simply stood there in silence, finally, she moved her lips and spoke,"I studied under Koi Sai, head Kamino geneticist in charge of producing the clones of Jango Fett during the clone wars. It was her who taught me how the process was done, and, in turn, showed me how I could, if I had to, replicate the process one day."

"So you can make more clones?" Hyde edged into the conversation.

"In theory, yes. With appropriate facilities, resources, and technology, I could very well recreate the cloning operation that the Kaminoans first created," Yara replied.

"In theory," Arcade said, with something dark hiding behind his voice.

"Yeah, a new slave army for whoever can fork over the most credits. I've seen this already, and I can already predict the outcome," Keenan said, visibly irritated.

"See? The doctor isn't just a pretty face; she's the key to remaking the greatest army in the galax-" he never finished his sentence; his flesh sizzled with a smokey smell as his head rolled onto the ground and his body crumbled.

"Thanks for that, friend," Atridian thumbed off his lightsaber and placed it back on his belt; he turned away and moved to leave the alley, but his men didn't follow.

"Sir. Where you not listening to the conversation we were having? Doctor Yara has the capability to make more clones," Arcade said.

"What about it?" Atridian didn't even turn to face him.

"Sir, with all due respect, we can't let that happen," Arcade said, with determination in his voice,

"Fine. Kill her then, but only after we deliver her and get paid, not before. Now straighten up; we're heading to the Red Bantha cantina down the street," Atridian said.

It was completely silent as the group moved; no one said a word to each other. Atridian knew he'd have to face the fact of what Yara was eventually, but now wouldn't be the time; he was white with rage and it took every ounce of control he had to not go on a killing spree.

Lazlen gets on an elevator and goes up to the bridge level. Once he get's out of the elevator he saluted by a single stormtrooper as he approaches the door. The doors automatically open up and sees Commander Fretner and another officer standing by the Holomap.
"Commander Fretner sir." Lazlen saluted.
"Lieutenant," Fretner addressed, "Just in time. I have hope no one gave you trouble?"
"It was easy to get here since you banned drinks at the mess hall," Lazlen said sternly.
"Hm, well drunk stormtroopers are inefficient in combat. Anyway you are not to discuss prohibition. Are you ready  for you mission?"
"Are Jawas easy target?"
"Let's begin." Commander Fretner activates a Holomap and projects a hologram of the system. "Now as you are well aware, we have been assigned to keep peace and order to the Rebartian system. Lately, the insurgence in this system are increasing in both power and number. If we don't act fast then we'll lose the system and its resources."
"Why don't you just call them Rebels? It's not a big secret in the galaxy you know." Lazeln remarks.
"I will not give them the satisfaction of calling them 'Rebels.' It just makes their fight seem to have more good intentions," Commander Fretner responded distastefully. "Anyway after Trew returned from Yerru we've discovered a significant resource in the blasters they use: Tibanna."
"Yeah so? That's in almost every blaster in the galaxy."
"BUT, its only on one planet in the system."
"What do you mean?" Lazlen asked.
"Ever since we began the blockade on all non-Imperial trade in the system. They've had to get their resources from within the system. And only one planet in the system. Zamantaria." Fretner presses a button and a hologram of Zamantaria appears.
"So the Reb-...Insurgents have been mining the planet for the gas?"
"Precisely."
"Then why not send a platoon or a star destroyer there?"
"Because of their defense." Commander Fretner presses another button and a hologram of a base, and its defenses, pulls up. "They have an specialized version of an Ion Cannon. They farther out it gets, the larger its radius becomes. Once it reaches the atmosphere it disappears."
"I thought the Empire loved wasting recruits" Lazlen remarked.
"Your mission." Fretner continued. "Is sneak into the base an deactivate their defenses. There's an exuast pipe big enough to fit you inside on the East side of the compound. One inside place a detonator on the controls and destroy it. It will leave them defenseless and powerless. A perfect opportunity to send in troops then. Any questions Lazlen?"
"None whatsoever, Sir," Lazlen answered.
"Well good luck then Lazlen. Once you get back I want to have a word with you about a possible new recruit."
"You know how I feel about new recruits. Dead weight. Why not ask Trew about it sir?"
"Its a female."
"Hm, alright. I'll be back in 10."

"Well looky here.If it isn't Yara." The man clad in mandalore armor approached the group of people in the Cantina.
"A lot of people are looking for you. A lot. Of. People."
He placed his hand on Atridians shoulder.
"Sir if I may, I am afraid I will need your friend Yara to come with me."
He placed his hand on his blaster. Passively making a threat.
"My employer is willing to pay anyone involved her capture."

Atridian didn't think; his body simply reacted to the threat. He grabbed the stranger by the throat and lifted him into the air a few feet off the ground; putting slight pressure on his windpipe, enough to stop him from breathing.
"What business do you exactly have, sir? I'm sure if it's important, then Yara would be happy to come along," Atridian was all ice, not showing a hint of rage which had almost consumed him a little while ago,"While you're at it, who exactly has an interest in our mutual friend here?"

Atridian had noticed the cantina had grown silent the moment he grabbed the unknown stranger, but he didn't care; he'd already killed one Mandalorian today, he wasn't gonna hesitate to kill another one. He put his lightsaber blade against the front of his helmet; if he activated the blade, he wouldn't even get a second to react.

"Here's your choices. Talk, or die. I honestly wanna kill you for just touching me like some arrogant slimeball, but, thankfully, I'm composed right now and feeling generous. So, chose wisely; either way it doesn't matter to me. I'll kill you if you're not useful, and I'll kill you later if you are useful," Atridian menaced.

Lazlen makes his way towards the hanger, where he's met by a pilot and a MAAT painted black.
"Lieutenant Lazlen Sir!" the pilot shouted. "Both the co-pilot and I are ready to leave on your mark Sir!"
"Alright, let's get moving pilot," Lazlen responded.
"Yes Sir!" The pilot gets into the cockpit and Lazlen enters the MAAT. Once Lazlen enters the blast doors close and they begin to lift off. The gun ship then travels down towards the planet's surface and breaks into its atmosphere.
"Try not to get to close to it pilot, I don't want them to know that we are here!" Lazlen shouted above the noise of the engine.
"Yes Sir! I'll try to bring you behind it!" The gunship continues its approach down towards the surface of the planet. "Opening the blast doors now!" The blast doors open and Lazlen is met with swamps and blinding sunlight. "Alright were coming up on the LZ Sir!"
"Land the gunship down there!" Lazlen shouted, I'll make my way from there!"
"Sir yes Sir! Have a fun time down there!" Lazlen jumps out of the MAAT and hits the ground, his feet swallowed up by the marshes.
"Great. Swamps and Rebels. The cost of serving the Empire" Lazlen said to himself. Lazlen looks up and sees the MAAT lift up and flays towards the atmosphere. Lazlen looks at his holomap and sees that he needs to walk three klicks due west. He checks once more to make sure he has all of the necessary gear: E-11 blaster, his two DH-17 blaster pistols, and the detonator ready to go. a checks his surrounding and heads off towards the compound.

"How about you drop me so I don't blow us all to hell." he points to a collar around his neck.
"In case you haven't felt that, it's a suicide collar."
He struggles to breathe.
"Once my heart rate drops to zero, boom...now drop me so we can talk civilly" He gasps. "Yes? Please. Thank you."

There was a number of things he could do to the cocky stranger that wouldn't kill him; Force-choke him within an inch of death repeatedly; twist all of his fingers off his hand; bend both his legs backward until he couldn't walk anymore, or, and maybe worse yet, he could let his boys at 'em. But he didn't; that would've been hasty and stupid. This man obviously was well-informed enough to know about Yara, but the extent of his knowledge was not yet known either; he could know about her knowledge of clones, or he could just know her name alone. Atridian had to be sure before he did anything further; he dropped the man to the ground, still clasping his lightsaber in one hand in case he tried to do anything 'smart'. Zillo team also had their weapons trained on the man since the second he touched Atridian; all they needed was a signal of any kind from Atridian to put him down, regardless of the bomb.

"You will speak then," Atridian pulled up a table and two chairs with his force powers; he sat down and gestured for the man to join him,"Tell me anything, and everything, you know about the good doctor here"

He sat down in front of Atridian.

"Well, I know she knows a good bit about clones."

He pulls out a cigarette and a burner and lights up.
He takes a drag.

"And I'll be honest...I don't much care for my employer. He's thinking, 'Hey if I can get that Yara chick, we could have clones again and stuff and I can be a big hero and Vader will never choke me to death'."

He takes another drag.

"He's a dumbass named General Veradan, I met up with him about 2 weeks ago out on Midoon in the outer rim"

He pulls out a data hologram and points to the star system.

"He said he was hiring me, so he let me set up shop to get ready for my job. Well him and a few of his guys knocked me out while I was bathing with some gas, I woke up with this blasted collar around my neck."

He put out the cigarette after taking one last strong drag.

"No amount of credits is worth a fucking suicide collar. I heard about you guys taking out her escort. I figured 'Hey those guys could probably help me fuck the General up.' I mean look, i'm good, but i'm not stupid enough to take on a General with Commandos as guards whilst wearing an explody collar."

He pulls out another cigarette and lights up.

"Help me out, i'll help you out."

He tugs on his collar.

"One of your guys must be an explosives specialist yeah? Get this off of me and i'll lead you straight to this guy. I'm not the only one 'hired' to find this chick. I'll also help you get her to where you need her. I've got connections in all the right spaceports."

Post by Atridian Sun Dec 13, 2015 3:27 pm

For once, Atridian was genuinely surprised. He expected to hear a list of demands or some sort of request; not an outright proposal. The force must've really been with him today for him to run into a man who betrayed him, and runs into another who was at someone else's mercy. So Atridian settled in his seat and readied himself to play one of his favorite acts; the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

"Our friend back there, Nex is his name, knows quite a lot about explosives," Atridian gestured to Nex and he approached the man; inspecting his collar with meticulous detail,"As for fucking the General, me and my boys can do that fairly easily. We just need the location."

The collar snapped off the stranger's neck and Nex playful tossed it in the air a few times,"I'll hang onto this bad boy for ya if you don't wanna keep it I mean."

Atridian threw four two thousand credit chips across the table at the stranger,"First thing: gimme your name. Second: is that enough for you to work for me?"

Atridian leaned back in his chair slightly and let himself feel satisfied with the outcome of the encounter; he now had a new employee and information that could help him ensure Yara's safety. Atridian and his team exited the cantina and continued out onto the street; shop kiosks were lining either side of the road in front of them. Information was what he needed right now and the best person who he could talk to for that was an old rodian broker who trader in co-operate secrets back in his early years. Luckily for Atridian, he still kept some most of his old business partners on record; which was exactly what he needed right now. The rodian was called Yulisk, and Atridian didn't care for him beyond his ability to assist him; he was standing at his kiosk trying to con some unsuspecting kid into buying what was clearly a glorified metal box.

"I'm tellin' ya kid; this is the latest in the R2 astromech series. You won't find better prices anywhere else; you can trust me on that," Yulisk said, in his most exaggerated voice ever.

Atridian took a two thousand credit chip and tossed it at the kid; he looked bewildered and in complete disbelief as he stared wide-eyed at the tiny chip. He waved him off and he bolted into a sprint toward the food market; kids were ok in Atridian's book since they didn't pose a threat, and they kind of hlped make him feel better about himself.

"This is a new low, even for you, Yulisk," Atridian said as he approached the rodian,"Robbing kids? I honestly thought you had more dignity than that."

"Pffff. Dignity? What does that matter when business is so low I can't even afford to buy myself a decent meal anymore. I used to be able to walk into any cantina on this stinkin' planet and have enough credits to buy the place for myself for the day. Now, they don't even open the door for me and spit in my meals when they think I'm not looking. So don't you start criticizing me, Atridian, especially when you yourself are no better," Yulisk said, glaring intently at Atridian as he spoke.

"You'd do best to remember that I have a very short fuse for those who annoy me, and you are starting to annoy me. Anyways, I didn't come here to insult your character alone; I need some information on the local gangs around here," Atridian said.

Yulisk sighed then retrieved a large datapad from underneath the kiosk,"And who exactly are you wanting the information on today?"

"Anyone who in particular are inquiring about a Miss Yara Jin."

Yulisk cocked his eyebrow,"How do you expect me to know about that? I'm good, but I'm not omniscient  who can see all that-" Atridian stared. at him without moving a single inch,"Haaaaaa; they're called the Flak Dragons. They work all of the planet but the closest group is operating out of an abandoned warehouse here in town."

"Thanks, Yulisk. You're still good at your job, even after retirement," Atridian tossed him a three thousand credit chip as he walked off.

"Off to the warehouse?" Arcade asked.

"Off to the warehouse," Atridian said.

Galak walked into the hanger and observed all of the TIE fighters. The hanger wasn't very busy today so today was a good day for the cadets to go get some practice flying. Galak walked over to a comms device that was placed on the wall.

"All Sergeants that are in command of a cadet squad please report to hanger three. ASAP. That is all."

Within a few minutes there where nine sergeants that surrounded Galak. It shocked Galak that the Sergeants looked so novice, they looked as if they themselves should still be cadets but that was none of his business.

"OKAY, today we are going to be doing a live pilot day prepare your squads for flight. I want all that cadets lined up in front of those TIE's over there. I want you Sergeants to make sure all their gear is ready for flight. We are going to fly in formation around the blockade then break the atmosphere and train in the canyons of Tatooine. Anything questions?"

"NO SIR" the Sergeant yelled.

The men ran off to get their squads ready.

Moments later 80 or so men were lined up in front of the TIE fighters dressed in brand new shiny Imperial black flight suits.

"OKAY" you sergeants already gave you guys the briefing. Everyone get in your TIE's and follow your squad leads through this training senerio."

The TIE's flew out of the hanger door and gracefully held a tight formation after the cadets got their barring the real practice commenced.

"Ok, we are going to fly through that jettisoned refuse pile, there shouldn't be anything big enough in there to damage your ship, but if you get a scratch on your ship you have to fix it. The TIE's one at a time flew through the debris.
Only a hand full of ships managed to scrape their ships on the floating pile of junk.

"Okay, now we are going into the planets orbit. Flying in orbit is a bit different but I have complete confidence in all of you."

The fighters broke the planets atmosphere and began to fly towards a canyon.

"So, do we go on go, or 3, 2, 1, and then go?" Hyde asked, watching Nex place the breaching charges on the side of the warehouse wall.

"3, 2, 1, then go. It's always been that way; why would we just say go?" Keenan replied, utterly baffled.

"In case, we need to go right this second and can't waste time with a countdown. That way-" Arcade hit the back of Hyde's helmet and pointed forward.

"Stack up; either side. Get ready. NOW," Arcade said sternly.

Atridian stood behind Nex as he stepped back from placing the explosives and palmed the detonator; it would be a standard breach and clear procedure. Whoever was inside the warehouse were definitely the same as the ones who'd chased after them; one glance toward the guards at the front was all he needed to recognize the same uniform the pursuers had worn. He had his blaster in one hand; lightsaber in the other, ready to slash through anyone and shoot anything once they entered the warehouse. Atridian couldn't have known how many men were inside just by staring at the building of course. So he listened to his gut, and his gut told him to expect a garrison-sized amount of hostiles on the inside.

"What do you think boss? 3, 2, 1?" Atridian looked at Hyde, he had no patience for jokes at that moment.

"Go" Atridian replied.

"GO!" the charges went off, sending fire and debris out onto the streets as the durasteel distorted and shattered.

Arcade tossed in three flash grenades, waited a few seconds to hear them go off, then he rushed into the building, with his squad trailing right behind him. Atridian ducked as a nemoidian tried hitting him with a large wrench as he charged from his left. He put three blaster shots into his torse then one in his head for good measure; Arcade was laying down a field of suppressing fire so Nex could toss a few thermal detonators into a collection of stacked crates.
Bodies flew over their heads as the explosives went off; Nex shot up at four targets running along the catwalks above; downing each one with an entire clip of his blaster. Suddenly Hyde was on the ground; a trandoshan had tackled him and pinned his left arm to the ground while violently trying to stab at him with a jagged knife. It took two seconds for Atridian to reach Hyde's position and another three seconds to stab his lightsaber through the aliens chest.
Hyde threw the trandoshan aside and jumped to his feet; three hostiles had just appeared from a cargo container and he riddled them with plasma bolts, sending blood across the floor and screams throughout the rafters. Nex curb stomped a weequay gunmen before sinking his wrist blade into a human who tried to strike him with a large pipe; blood trickled down his arm as he threw the human down and pulled out his blaster before firing past a group of armored guards, hitting a pile of fuel containers. Atridian struggled to maintain his balance as the explosion sent shockwaves throughout the warehouse; the building creaked slightly as the metal inside expanded slightly from the force of the explosion.
Arcade held one of the men as a shield while firing his blaster left and right; bodies dropped as he moved toward a stair case to the second floor of the building. Atridian blocked a barrage of blaster shocks then launched a burst of Force-lightning at a group of grenadiers, frying them in an instant and dropping their smoking corpses to the warehouse floor. In five leaps, Atridian was at Arcades side as he charged up the staircase and dropped four targets that were shooting down at the rest of the team. They both stacked either side of a door running along the second story wall and Arcade placed an explosive charge on the handle; it blew the door into a million pieces and Arcade tossed a few flash grenades in like before.
The second they went off, he and Atridian were inside and firing on a large group of suited gunmen in a nicely decorated office. Atridian shot three targets in the brain and threw his lightsaber into another four, cutting them in half from the waist up and dropping their bodies onto the nice, red, carpet underneath. It had only been three minutes since they breached the building; now Atridian had his blaster aimed steadily at the head of a well dressed, and tall, gungan. He was shaking incredibly hard and held both arms up in surrender; somehow Atridian immediately knew that whoever he was, he wasn't who he was looking for.

"Any chance you know where your bosses might be? We have a couple questions regarding a friend of ours that we'd very much like to discuss with them," Atridian said.

The gungan pointed toward a giant, durasteel, door that looked like a bank vault rather than a door in a warehouse on Tatooine. Atridian nooded to the gungan; Arcade fired a round in between the aliens eyes and stepped over it's smoking carcass as he moved to examine the giant metal door.

"I'll get Nex up here after he's done with the party downstairs. He'll have this open in ten, no, five minutes," Arcade said.

"No. I got this one, Sergeant," Atrdian said, raising both hands and focusing his force energy.

The metal started to bend inward then distorted from all corners; it cracked and crunched and screeched before starting to move forward slightly. Atridian threw his arms angrily and the door flew of the latches on the wall and smashed into a line of filing cabinets across from it. Inside was a steel covered rrom with a single human male cowering inside with a tiny blaster pistol clutched in his hands.

"Think he's the boss of this place, sir," Arcade asked.

"I'm reluctant to say yes, but yes," Atridian replied.

"Well then; shall we introduce ourselves?"

"After you."

Lazlen was lost in his thoughts, like how was he supposed to sneak around an Insurgent base? Did he bring enough firepower in case? How many were there? Would he get out of there in time? Lazlen shook off that last question, he would gladly die for the Empire. They gave him a fresh start. Saved him from prison. And was able to prove himself in their ranks. Actually, he shook off all his worries, he wouldn't need to worry until he was inside the station, right now he would just need to find the pipe and crawl in. Did he have his detonator? He checked once more to put his nerves to rest. Why was he like this? Did Trew create fear within him? Or was it that village he stormed with two plato-
He stopped thinking and began listening. He heard noises, nothing nature like. But something metallic, as if it was floating. Probe Droid. He duck downed to blend with the plant. He stood there listening for any type of sound that was coming closer. He could hear the Probe Droid in the distance, sometimes coming closer and other times fading away. Though he heard it coming closer and would only continue to become louder. Finally he could hear it communicate over the comms, repeating the same phrase over and over again. He thought it was over him at one point, that he could somehow feel its engine putting pressure on his back. Slowly he began to reach down towards one of his DH-17s, ready to fire at the droid at any sight of it.
"Okay that's far enough" Lazlen heard. Was he talking to him or the droid? He brought the pistol closer to his chest.
"C'mon we start heading back Saal" another person shouted.
"Well I would start heading back if this stupid Probe Droid would listen! Why are we even out here anyway?"
"You know, with the Imps' making more of a lasting impression in the system, security has gotten tighter." The droid started heading back to the voices.
"Well thank the Stars! C'mon let's go back. I heard the mess has got something good tonight!"
"Only you and your stomach would think that' the other voice said. And both the voices and the droid faded in the distance. Lazlen laid there for a few more minutes to be sure. Finally hes stood up for the ground and holstered his blaster. Were they really gone? Which way did they go? Were their more than two, or just a figment of his imagination. He shrugged it off. He'll just blast them if they find him. Lazlen continued to head towards the target location.
"'Something good'" Lazlen thought. "What did he mean by that?"

Star Wars Role Play 2 (Currently Ongoing) - Page 3 Empty Re: Star Wars Role Play 2 (Currently Ongoing)

"So start from the top; I just want to get the facts straight. You understand right? Wouldn't want to go off of bogus information after all," Atridian said, leaning slightly against a desk.

Arcade was wiping their prisoner's blood off of his gauntlets knuckles; he had been less than cooperative at first to reveal the intel regarding Yara, but a few minutes with the intense attention from an ex-commando had quickly changed his mind. Atridian was always amused at how effective good, and thorough, beatings could be to speed up interrogations.

"We...only received word.....not too long...ago." He was drifting between being conscious and subdued.
"The bosses-bigger than our bosses-gave clear orders to be on....standby. They needed us ready to muster out on a moments notice; that's all I know, I swear. So, please call off your knuckle dragger. I can't take anymore."

"I'll think about it. But first, tell me where I can find these 'bigger' bosses of yours are located. I wanna stop by and ask them the same questions too," replied Atridian.

"They're in.....a three-story tall building not far from here. Security is tighter; they got better hardware for sure compared to us," he leant over and spat a thick wad of blood onto the floor.

"Thanks, friend. You've been most helpfu-" a round broke through the window behind the prisoner and turned his head into a sizzling, black, crater.

Arcade and Atridian dropped instantly as their battle instincts kicked in; they moved over to the wall under the window for cover and Arcade peered over to see if he could spot the shooter. An explosion from above destroyed their focus and rained down debris over both of them; two dark figures dropped down into the center of the room.

"I hate party crashers," Arcade said, standing up,"They always mess up all the fun we get up too."

"Who do you think they are?" Atridian asked,"Other gang lackeys? Bounty hunters?"

"No; imperials."

"How you figure? Just a feeling?"

"No; they're both wearing the imperial bullseye on both their arms," Arcade said, pointing toward the now infamous crest the empire wore as it's emblem of terror.

One of the two figures-the ones closest to them-walked up with both arms held behind his back and looked at them intently; his face had slight scarring and indentations that came from countless battles.

"I expected to find a den of hoodlums in this desolate place of scum, but I never imagined I'd find someone like you" his eyes were firmly planted on Atridian, and he didn't like it one bit.

"A jedi," the dust had settled and the other figure now was a dark stormtrooper with his blaster sighted on Atridian.

"Make no mistake, lieutenant. He is no Jedi; he is far too powerful with the dark side to be a feeble Jedi. He is something else; something like us," the first figure drew a double sided lightsaber and activated the crystals of red light at each end,"Show me what you are. Entertain me a bit and I might spare you a painful death."

Arcade couldn't have shot him in time; he flung himself through the air and landed in front of Atridian before throwing a series of attacks at him. Atridian skillfully deflected each hit he tried to make skillfully then went on the offensive; he slashed left and right, but his opponent was no novice either. He ducked and dived to avoid the attacks then returned his with his own flurry of stabs and sweeping strikes; the two stood almost in place as the two exchanged blows but didn't land any on each other. The mystery attacker waved his arm and sent a desk hurtling towards Atridian who simply sliced through it in a single strike; creating two separate pieces of molten slag that hit the ground and slid a little ways until hitting the wall opposite the fighting.
Arcade ejected his vibroblade from his wrist and slashed at the attacker while he was concentrated on Atridian's movement; the mystery man was more adept than Atridian had assumed. He side stepped the blade and grabbed Arcade by the arm before throwing him clear across the room; displaying little to no effort on his face as he lifted the two hundred and seventy-five pound man into the air like a feather. Atridian rushed him and suddenly the two were locked in a power struggle, with both of their lightsabers pushing against each other; trying to dominate the fight with sheer power.

"Impressive. You'd make a fine inquisitor indeed; once they re-educated you that is. To wipe away that rebellious nature I see in you," he said with a nasty smile across his face.

"Generous offer. But I'll have to decline," Atridian smashed his helmet against his head, stunning him with concussive force that made him stagger backwards.

It was his chance; Atridian opened his palm and streaks of Force-lightning flooded out like a sea of water eels swarming toward a single target. It hit him like a speeder going at full speed; the inquisitor screeched in pain as his body convulsed uncontrollably making him drop his lightsaber and drop to his knees as smoke rose slowly from his body.
Atridian took three steps forward and violently stuck his lightsaber through his chest before pulling it out and cutting his head off in one smooth motion of fluid skill. Atridian kicked the decapitated head toward the dark storm trooper and angled his lightsaber toward him as a warning; whoever the inquisitor had been, or, however, powerful he was, Atridian had killed him in less than two minutes and the trooper knew that now he wasn't a person to be taken lightly whatsoever.

"I didn't like that spook very much, to be quite honest. He was arrogant; selfish, and ignorant. You might have done the empire a favor actually; at the very least I won't report it in. For my own safety above anything else; if command got word that one of their favorite new little toys was killed they'd no doubt hold me personally accountable for the failure," he said.

"That'd be a smart move unless you want to end up just like your companion at my feet right now," Atridian hadn't moved an inch, nor did he show any sign of wavering."He was good but still such an amateur at the same time. Whatever you guys are doing, you're doing is wrong. Tell whoever you report to that next time they send out one of these inquizzey boys, they should make them come in pairs of two instead of solo. Better odds."

"Duly noted. I got rebels to kill anyways," the dark trooper suddenly flew upwards out through the hole in the roof, trails of smoke indicted he had been wearing a jetpack Atridian hadn't noticed on him.

At that moment the rest of Zillo squad burst into the room, blasters leveled, ready to fire,"We miss the party up here? Sarge, you were suppose to send invites; I don't know if I'll ever forgive you now."

Arcade climbed to his feet with a grunt towards his team; despite being tossed like a cushion, the man still clutched his Deece firmly in his right hand without the slightest indication that anything, short of death, would pry it from his iron grasp.

"Can it, Hyde. I'm in no mood for your osik right now," he looked over at the crumpled body of the inquisitor; Atridian couldn't see what face he was making underneath that helmet of his, but he knew the man well enough that he was definitely fixing the corpse with a murderous glare."Shabuir; he used that hocus-pocus that the commanders always talking about and threw me across the bloody room." Anger tightened his tone like a vise as he spoke; Arcade suddenly lifted his blaster and fired into the corpse until his clip ran out and he replaced it with a new one.

"Whoa, whoa. Take a breather, sarge; we all get bumped sometimes, it happens, we recover, we improve, and we get on with it," Nex had come up behind Arcade and placed a concerning hand on his brother-sergeants shoulder."This guy was certainly a new brand of nasty for sure. We've never encountered these guys so there was no way you could've known to deal with him."

"He's right, Arcade. Even I didn't know about them; these inquisitors are probably another one of the empires billion shadow projects we've seen before. Shrug it off like a blaster round and keep on with it." Atridian was a cold, ruthless, killer who didn't particularly care for anyone who wasn't his sister; life had beaten the naivete and innocence out of him long ago, along with his compassion too. But this was different; these were his men who were just as much a family to him as Alea was. Whenever they got shook, he felt it."Next time, I expect you to put 'em down before they can even make a snarky comment. You're the perfect soldier, after all, so I expect a perfect result perfectly done on a perfect time done the most perfectly-perfect kind of way." Atridian slapped him on the back, all love.

He used perfect almost like a deterrent when he spoke about them, using it to hammer home the point that, while clones from a Mandalorian warrior, bred to be the best, and expected from themselves to be the best, they were all still men. Men like any other who got nervous and scared; who choked up and stumbled. No one, especially not Atridian, expected them to be perfect because, they were after all, only human like him.

"Thank you, Commander," said Arcade, sounding a bit more collected and soothed now.

"Atridian would be fine as well, Arcade," He walked over to the window and looked out to see if he could spot the three-story building their prisoner had mentioned before his head had gone up in smoke."If you look over here, boys, you'll see where our next party session is taking place."

The squad had formed up on either side of him and they all used their helmet optics to see farther than their normal eyes would let them to make out the building Atridian was talking about. It had a very wide base, nearly three times the size of the warehouse, and it curved upwards like length of a knife that got skinnier the higher it rose. There was a distinct flag hanging from it's side, an alien skull with four pairs of horns rising out from the top in a black circle on dark red fabric. Atridian saw two entrances on the two sides he saw, indicating that there was probably two more entrances on the other sides he couldn't see. Armed men were out on the streets in the gangs black and red uniform patrolling the perimeter around the building.
Their armor was low-grade durasteel that covered their torsos, legs, and shoulders; some wore helmets with their ensemble that had a sun-visor they could pull down to protect their eyes from the unrelenting sun. The prisoner hadn't been lying about them having better hardware; they all carried genuine blaster rifles, scatter-guns, sniper rifles, and a few even had very cheap rocket launchers. Luckily, they didn't have anyone posted up as an overwatch for the street teams; a dumb decision by Atridian's standards. Then again maybe they had enough bodies inside they they thought having a look out wouldn't matter if they could just overwhelm their enemies with sheer numbers alone. The two entrances had barricades set up with two E-Web turrets aiming down the stretch to the buildings door; two synchronized sniper shots would take care of them with little issue, but what was still bugging Atridian was the unknown number of gangsters inside the building itself. They very well could be walking themselves into a battle of absolute failure if his gut was right. They were good, hell, they were small army good, but there was no way they could go into a three hundred on one battle without taking some serious scratches; maybe even casualties too.
No matter what, they had to get into that building and find whoever knew about Yara's cloning abilities if they didn't want a mountain of trouble crashing down on them. The rebels and imperials would be on them like flies on bantha dung before they would even have time to smell it. Whoever the leak was, they needed to be pumped for intel, and dispatched to stop the information from getting out; though Atridian knew deep down it was a futile effort, after all, no one can control information. Rumors can quickly turn into facts and it was almost certain that word had gotten out already that there was someone out there who could make more clones from the Fett genome. Even so, he had to do something; for Yara's sake, for their sake.

"Nexus, this is ground team: mission complete. We're enroute back home so start the engines for us," Atridian commed the ship with his fingers placed on the side of his helmet."Also, Alea can you look into the market and see if there are any decent gunships for sale in this dust town."

"We copy, ground team. Getting the engine started; patching your message to Captain Alea," there was a click on the other end as the comms switched channels to the one his sister was on."Can I ask why you suddenly want to make a purchase of a bucket can exactly? And don't play me for a fool, I know you've been throwing out thousand increment credit chips left and right recently; you're going to bleed us dry, brother. We're not the imperial treasury, hell, we barely have over two million creds; that's pretty poor by merc company standards. So understand why I'm a bit confused you suddenly want to buy a gunship out of the blue, with no warning whatsoever."

"It's for our next mission, and my fighter isn't exactly a troop carrier. Write it off as a company purchase so that you don't have to worry yourself sick over our bank account," said Atridian, rolling his eyes underneath his helmet.

Alea was a gifted hacker and slicer, capable of robbing every bank in the galaxy at once without anyone noticing a single credit had gone missing, if she wanted to. Their childhoods had taken different paths leading to the careers they had now; Atridian was muscle, Alea was brain. He learned how to fight, while she learned how to shut down power to half the city on Coruscant; and after his accident, she took up the knife and blaster at a local bounty hunter agency. She was now a trifecta of lethality, and intellect that even Atridian was sometimes envious of.
He could crush metal like it was sheet paper, sure, but he couldn't access the black market and get the latest, and baddest, new tech, create fake imperial IDs and credentials that registered with their systems, steal millions of credits from a bank without moving an inch, or hack into any database in the galaxy to get whatever intel they needed or wanted to give them an edge. Atridian loved his sister; she was a bloody diamond who he wouldn't trade away for all the credits in the galaxy.

"Oh and do so love writing purchases off to the company for billing," Alea was absolutely grinning on her end of the comms, Atridian knew he too well that anything involving computers and big numbers gave her immense satisfaction."Let's see if our contacts have anything in stock; if we're gonna by a gunship, we're aren't going to settle. We either get the best, or we don't get it at all; nothing gets you killed faster on a critical mission than shabuir tech."

Atridian was slightly amused at her use of a Mandalorian swear; she didn't display much love for the crew of the men that fought with him, but deep down, Atridian knew she cared for them just as much as he did whether she showed it or not. It was small, but that word spoke volumes to him about how close she felt with the Mando clone commandos. Atridian was a cynic and carried a harsh personality, but compared to his sister, he was sunshine and rainbows.
The past had unfortunately stripped him of his general kindness and love for other beings, and the same went for her; only it ran much, much deeper than his ever did. Alea would kill anyone who stepped on the Nexus who wasn't part of the crew, she was distrustful toward anyone they met to ludicrous degree, she loathed other's kindness, and she treated everyone who wasn't in their circle, new or old, as a threat and an enemy.
Atridian couldn't blame her for any of it; they both had to survive through some harrowing things and the fact that they made it out in one piece, and ended up this good, was an achievement in it's own right. She was who she was; she killed without fear or remorse, but she also loved unconditionally and protected those she cared for with sheer animal ferocity. Atridian loved his sister; she was a bloody diamond who he wouldn't trade away for all the credits in the galaxy.

"We're in luck, boys. Bosh Canvora is selling an old republic gunship for a nifty fifty thousand credits; it's on sale. Can you take a guess as to what it is?" she said, Zillo team immediately perked up and looked between each other."You don't think she means......" it was Keenan who spoke first.

"No way she could be talking about that. The empire scrubbed those in the first years after it established itself," Nex said, sounding faintly excited.

Atridian and the team had made their way of of the warehouse and onto the streets by that time; no one gave them a second glance as they passed by. Probably because they either didn't care enough to make the effort, or were too scared too look again for fear that they might be slotted just for looking in their direction.

"Alright, Alea. The guys are holding their breaths over here so just spit it out before they turn purple and collapse," Atridian was smiling despite what he said.

"A mint-condition, factory fresh, full equipped and loaded, LAAT/i," Alea said in a very grandiose and exaggerated way.

The four men pumped their fists in victory,"A good ole larty. God I'll never forget those glorious sounds the engines made." Hyde was laughing with joy.

"So, sir. We have a larty now, but I still don't know what you're planning to do with it," Arcade said, switching from jubilant to acting sergeant in an instant.

"I don't know quite yet," Atridian had a very vague idea of what he wanted but not enough to plan anything off of."Once we get back on the ship, we'll discuss our plan of action."

"Yes sir," there was something he wanted to add but hesitated, Atridian gave him a nod to show he had his approval to speak his mind."We'll be deploying both teams, won't we."

"You guessed it. Even with eight commandos, we'll still be heavily outnumbered anyways. So yeah, we're taking the extra muscle and firepower to help give us a better chance at success."

"You won't have to worry, sir. We'd all fight to our dying breath for you and follow you into the lava seas of Mustafar if that's where you wanted to go."

Atridian liked Arcade; he was a good leader, a good man, and a great friend. He didn't need to say it either; they all knew they'd die for each other already with so much certainty it was like the foundation of a mountain. War made you allies, but battle made you brothers.

Star Wars Role Play 2 (Currently Ongoing) - Page 3 Empty Re: Star Wars Role Play 2 (Currently Ongoing)

Post by Atridian Wed Dec 16, 2015 7:13 pm

Atridian watched as the last of his men walked through the door into the ships communications center; they all took up positions, both standing and sitting, around the large holotable sitting at the rooms center. Alea was at his side with a full previous conversations worth of knowledge as to what Atridian wanted them to do; his original vague concept had fully manifested itself the second he stepped on board the Nexus.
Now all that was left was to fill in the rest of them on the plan and, hopefully, they wouldn't tear it to shreds for being tactically dimwitted and obtuse. He wasn't a strategist; Atridian knew that, as did his crew, but whenever he got an idea in his head and formulated it into a plan, it was usually a pretty good one. A collection of hisses snapped Atridian out of his concentrated state and he looked up to see all of the commandos pop the seals off their helmets and remove them.
Like always, they had the same face, but, at the same time, they all looked completely different from one another. It was small details that separated them; some had scars, some had shorter hair, some had wrinkles, some had no wrinkles.
It all helped them stand apart from each other, despite them being clones; it was immediately apparent to Atridian who was who when he looked at them. He settled his eyes on October, who stood out the most from all of his brothers; his hair was cut short, bald except for a long stripe of dark hair running from the back of his scalp to the top of his forehead. That still was overshadowed by the most distinguishing feature on his face; a white scar, that started from the bottom left side of his lip, ran up diagonally across his face in jagged lines all the way up toward his temple.
Atridian had been told October got the scar from a Trando who was trying to take a young Twi'lek girl as a slave after a battle on Rothana back during the clone wars. The alien clawed him good, but October was the one left standing after the confrontation; wristblade to it's neck had made it very short.
He said the scar never hurt him—not physically anyway—but Atridian knew that wasn't exactly true; the Force around him felt distorted whenever he thought about it in a way that betrayed his real feelings. It wounded the image of himself; the perfect soldier in every way. Atridian would have to discuss with each and every one of them after this whole business was over; it was high time he put them straight and stopped them thinking like objects who could be honed and perfected.

"Gentlemen, thank you all for coming so quickly," Atridian said, he had always remembered a little love went a long ways with them, no matter how small.

"Well it's not like we have anywhere else to be, sir," Flak said with a cracked smile, showing genuine good humor.

"Speak for yourself, ner vod. I've got a waitress waiting for me to give her a call; just itching to show me a good time," Whily said, joining his smile with Flaks.

"Those distractions of yours are the reason why I'm the squads best sniper despite your efforts to surpass me. My Deece is my lady, Whiles, and she gets all the attention she deserves cause the more love I give her, the more kills she racks up," Stinger shot back at his brother with a stare of pure macho-ism."Spend too much time playing with other instruments and you get rusty at handling the ones that matter."

"Get a life you psychotic bad-boy; you spend way too much time killin' and not enough time livin', ner vod ," Whilly said.

"That's the truth," Flak nodded in agreement, all smiles."Come out with us to the clubs once in a while, Stinger; who knows, maybe all that build up battle instinct will make you a beast on the dance floor."

"I'm good, thanks," Stinger gave a gruff reply that indicated he no longer wanted to think about the things that existed outside of his life as a soldier.

Atridian tapped a few buttons and the three-dimensional blue print of the building formed in front of their eyes; it had every detail and floor plan for the whole building, which Alea snagged from the database of the construction company who built it. The inside was big, but thankfully had plenty of interior decoration so that they wouldn't be stuck in a spot without cover.

"This is our objective boys," Atridian leaned over the table with both hands gripping the sides."And somewhere inside is someone who knows too much about our friend Yara. Whoever they are, we have to locate them, interrogate them, then dispose of them. Nothing is more dangerous than loose information boys so this needs to be treated with complete seriousness. Worst case scenario: it can be linked back to us and the empire get free reign to blast us out of the sky for good."

"So no big worry," Nex said as he looked intently at the blueprints."What are you thinking on how we can get in there, though. Can't use the front door, too many nice guards who probably like their jobs shooting, and drinking, to let us slip in."

"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. But my solution is simpler than a weequay smuggler," Atridian pointed to the buildings flat roof."Using our newly acquired LAAT/i, or larty, as you like to call it, we air drop over the building at night. Land safely, then rappel into the building without raising any alarms. It'll be a stealth insertion, but I want us to bring along some serious firepower just in case things go side ways and we gotta fight our way out."

The room was silent for a bit as the men took in and processed the information; no doubt running virtual scenarios in their heads to see whether or not the plan made any tactical sense.

"I like it, sir. This is a good plan," October broke the silence and stared at Atridian."We won't let you down on this one."

You never have; you never will.

"Yeah, same here. Night ops with heavy guns sounds like a fun adventure," Whilly said enthusiastically.

"Count on the worm as good as smashed, sir. We're very good at smashing things, after all," Stinger chimed in.

"Seriously, why can't a guy just keep his trap shut? Now we gotta fly over there, rappel all the way down to where he's sleeping, and shoot him in the face. Is a little decency too much to ask these days?" Flak, still smiling, laughed slightly once he finished talking.

Atridian looked at Zillo team and their expressions spoke for them; they had determined, implacable, stares that spoke more words for them than the ones they would have said themselves. We don't fail, sir. We're the best. We'll shove our blades into that scum-sucker fore sure. We'd die before retreating and take death over defeat. They were hard men made from harder experiences; Atridian respected them all and had confidence they'd succeed even if the whole building was after their throats.

"That's it. Suit up, boys; we start the operation as soon as the sun disappears. Get your favorite toys together to show the other kids; we'll want to leave an impression."

It was almost completely pitch darkness inside the gunship as it flew through the Tatooinen night sky; Atridian only saw the nine bodies inside from the faint glow of the moon that had already taken the suns place. Eight T shaped helmets glowed light blue in the cabin; Hyde had his Z-6 rotary blaster held firmly with two hands. Flak sported the WESTAR-M5 with a grenade launcher under-barrel attachment; the rest of them carried their traditional DC-17s, along with their various weapon attachments for it.
Their pilot, one of his crew, was an ex rebel ace, or so he said, and never told anyone his real name. He went by Vector; it worked for them. Atridian glanced over at the shiny armored, and upiddy, cad student who Alea tossed onto the team at the last second.
She said his name was Yorrick and, unlike the rest of the cad group he was in, he actually seemed capable enough to contribute to the mission; so she said anyways. He wore sleek model one stormtrooper armor that was shiny enough to brush your teeth off of; he carried a regular E-11 in his hands with the stock folded back so it was sitting on his shoulder. Yorrick looked from commando to commando until stopping on October, who was wearing a republic-style red double-sided pauldron and matching kama to create a more complicated appearance toward his enemies to shake them up.
Katarn-class armor was good enough to take rockets, but, in Atridian's book, it was never a bad idea to wear more armor. He looked again at the cad; disdain was all he could feel towards him. The crew may work on his ship but that didn't mean he respected any of them on the same level as the ones who fought beside him on the ground. In his eyes, every cad was shiny because they had no experience in battle, and he'd only start seeing them differently when that changed.
Maybe Yorrick was just another eager lad trying to find a way to survive in the big bad galaxy; maybe he was a self entitled little twat who thinks just because he scored high on the simulations meant he knew everything about combat. Atridian switched his comms to Yorrick's; it was on the teams comms so they'd hear everything he said to him.

"Feeling good, kid?" Atridian asked, sounding like he had genuine concern in his voice when there was none.

"Not really, sir. My stomach feels like it's trying to crawl outta me the hard way. This is my first mission actually, so I'm a little nervous," Yorrick replied, sounding every bit as nervous as he said he was.

The rest of them stifled a short series of laughs; it was obvious to everyone there, even the pilot too, that he was green as can be.

"Well, nothing like sweet desert air hitting you a three hundred miles an hour to make you get some experience real quick," Atridian said, opened the side of the gunship with a wave of his hand and turned down the outside noise on his helmet when the howling wind filled the cabin.

"Don't throw up, kid," Whilly smacked the cads back in a friendly way."Trust me. The last thing you wanna see when plummeting to your death is a screen full of your own vomit."

"Bad way to go," said Stinger in a low rumble.

"W-We have parachutes, right?" Yorrick's voice was starting to crack a bit now.

"'Course we do, kid. None of us are that stupid," Hyde said, lugging the rotary blaster with him as he approached the edge.

"You'll be fine. Just watch out backsides and don't lose sight of us," Whilly said, looking at Yorrick.

"Approaching the jump in three clicks, boys," Vector said over comms.

"We gonna get some support from ya? or is it that get out we're here kind of service?" Flak asked.

"Just gimme a call and I'll put as many rounds into that place that I got on me."

"Hell yeah! Gotta love air service sometimes."

Atridian looked down and saw the outline in his HUD of the building thousands of feet below them."GO!GO!GO!"

They were all out in an instant; guns strapped to their armor and equipment hanging off their backs. They were ten figures drifting through the sky; then they were gone. Lost in the darkness the came as the sun finally disappeared over the horizon completely.

What felt like half a day of walking, Lazlen took the sight of the compound as a good sign. But he remembered his mission and pulled out his binoculars. He examined the roof, four snipers, each scanning the area around then. Lazlen saw the glare of one of the scope and hid behind a tree. He waited a moment a looked on the roof. The sniper looked away, and Lazlen continued scouting. He noticed 5 insurgents guarding the front door.
"Like entering through there was a possibility" he thought. He continued to scan the area. I didn't take much effort to notice the ion cannon. It was almost twice as tall as the compound itself. "Another big laser cannon. I swear this galaxy loves big laser cannons" he remarked to himself. Finally he saw his infiltration entrance, the old pipeline going into the marshes below. He saw a hole in the side of it and saw his ticket inside. Quickly, he scanned the rooftops for the snipers, checked for his detonator, and made a dash for the pipe. He climbed into the pipe and traveled into the base. "Sewer pipes" he complained. "This better not stain my armor."
Finally Lazlen reached the end of the pipe and the beginning of the compound's lower levels. "Looks like no ones been down here for years." He looks around the room and notices its decaying state. "Guess that's what happens when no one decides to remodel for a couple of decades."
He finds some stairs and heads upwards looking for any guards as he progresses through the compound. After going up a few levels Lazlen find the mining room. And sees the Insurgents collecting and mining the blaster necessary material. Lazlen also notices a control terminal and overrides its controls to his wrist comm. "Just a little Plan B" Lazlen thought to himself. Lazlen sneaks out of the room and continues looking for the main defense terminals.

Star Wars Role Play 2 (Currently Ongoing) - Page 3 Empty Re: Star Wars Role Play 2 (Currently Ongoing)

The Cadets bobbed wand weaved through the canyon at great speeds, their wings inches away from the canyon walls. Do to the great speeds rock and dust was shot up into the air. The sight of pure fire power and Imperial might.

"Okay sergeants, run through the canyon one more time then we will head to the city and do a fly-by before heading back to the Requin"

"Yes Sir" ringed over the comms.

The sun began to slump over the horizon. The TIE's turned into frantic moving lights with only faint outlines of the ship. As the last couple of ships left the canyon Galak put in the coordinates for the Mos Eisley and asked for his men to regroup with him. The squadron was together and they headed off to the city. It was night now, no sun just the distant lights of the bustling spaceport.

"Galak, thank you for allowing the cadets to get hands on training with the TIE's" said one of the Sergeant.

"It's the only way to know if you are a good pilot or not. To be honest I thought that more than half of these new cadets would have slammed into the canyon wall but you and your men have surprised me."

"Thank you Sir"

The TIE's reached the space port and changed to a very slow and respectful cruising speed so no unnecessary implication would occur. There were numerous amounts of ships docked at this dirt ball spacestation and not a lot of ships were leaving at this time of night. From the TIE's you could see all the alien and human life walking, buying, trading, and crime that was happening in the city. This place is a place where fortune can be made or lost. The Empire didn't have a good control over a lot of these outer-rim planets, especially Tatooine do to the Hutts. But that wouldn't stop the Empire if they needed something. To the people living on this planet and seeing the massive blockade must think that their planet is about to be destroyed.

"Okay is everyone here at the spaceport" Stated Galak over the comms.

All the Cades and Sergeants sounded off as usual.

"Okay we are going to..."

BOOM rip. A Cadet tie spun out of control and exploded in the air. Out from the darkness of the night sky came an attack force of rebel fighters.

"EVASIVE MANEUVERS" yelled Galak over the comms.

"We just lost cadet 87"

A full blown dog fight began over the spaceport. The attack force was massive. There were only a hand full of experienced pilots out here including Galak.
BOOM another cadet was hit. and the sound of the man's screeching voice over the comms was terrifying. Red and green laser flew across the sky making an amazing looking light show.
Galak pulled hard on the yoke and increased the accelerator to max speed. Galak got a good look at what they were being attack by. The rebels outnumbered them 3 to 1 and they had an assortment of ships. The first wave of ships which they were fighting were the A-wings but on Galak's scopes he also identified X-wings and a hand full of B-wings. Galak got behind an A-wing and began to lock on to him the A-wing desperately tried to get out his lock but failed. Galak fired upon the A-wing, it was a direct hit exploding on contact. Galak pulled another hard maneuver and was heading straight towards 3 A-wings. Galak flew at the A-wings head on and fired, killing one of the pilots. The A-wing smashed into the ground. The other 2 A-wings flipped around and chased Galak. Galak barrel rolled to the right and got in front of one of the A-wings and reduced speed. To stop from smashing into the back of Galak the A-wing turned left and in air hit the other A-wing.

"Sergeants what is the status on the Cadets."

There was no response.

Galak looked around and most of the TIE's were destroyed and only 15 or so remained. The rebels still had their whole attack force.

"All fighters retreat back to the Requin"

"YES Si...." Boom

"Galak to Requin, Galak TO REQUIN, we are under attack we have lost, boom, We have lost most of the TIE cadets we need back up we have been, STTTSSST, NEED....B..UP....NOW."

the X-wings saw Galak and the rest of the TIE's trying to retreat and flew in front of them to keep the TIE's fighting. Galak locked onto a X-wing and fired a torpedo at it. The X-wings engine was hit and the ship plummeted and smashed into the tower that, unknown to Galak that Atridian was in, and exploded making a giant hole in the side of the building. Galak and the rest of the TIE's turned back around towards the Tower to use it a cover. The B-wings came in fast and chased the TIE's down. A B-wing got in close behind one of the Cadets and fired 2 torpedos and open fires on the TIE. The ship spins into the tower and shakes the building structural integrity. Stray rounds from the B-wing rip through the walls of the building.

"This is Tarvie, I am coming in with new Imperial ships."

The TIE's flew around the building and dropped altitude, now only a couple meters above the small houses and buildings. Most of the X-wings and B-wings broke off to attack the blockade and only a hand full of A-wings remained. Then like lightning Tarvie swoops in a new TIE Interceptor and blasts 3 A-wings out of the Sky.

"Thanks for the assistance Tarvie."

"Don't thank me just yet, the rest of the ships broke off and are now Attacking the blockade to see if they can get the transport ship off the planet."

Out of nowhere a stray a wing snags a hit on Galak's ship, causing a small electrical fire in his ship. The remaining 8 cadets chase down the A-wing and destroyed it and came back to escort Galak.

"Damn, my ship is fried. I need to land on the Requin and grab another ship."

"Okay, we will cover you" Tarvie says.

The ten of them fly toward the Requin. Now the Empire had the upper hand. The Star Destroyer's Turbolasers where destroying Rebel ships left and right. And the TIE's now outnumbered the Rebel ships 8 to 1. Galak, Tarvie and the cadets land in the hanger.

"Cadets, you have done well now your fly time is done, get out of your pilot gear and head up to the bridge and ask for new orders, you all have lost your sergeants and now we have to find you a new NCO."

The Cadets left.

Tarvie and Galak get out of their ships and meet each other.

"Galak I was so worried about you" she ran up and hugged Galak tightly.

"Tarvie are you okay, you don't usually 'hug' me."

Tarvie then looks up and kisses Galak. "Lets leave Galak. I love you and I want to be with you. Gosh I want you so bad."

Galak backed away "Tarvie you can't be serious, just leave everyone and everything I can do that. The Empire has given me a better life and everything I have ever wanted, including you. I'm sorry but I am not leaving."

"Not even if i make love to you." replied Tarvie

"No we have a job to do, maybe later when the war is over but not now."

Galak walked off and got aboard another TIE fighter and left. Galak meet up with pilots from Obsidian squadron and took command, they lost there lead pilot due to a stray Turbolaser round. Disintegrated him on contact, he probably never felt a thing. He was there and then not, that's how quick stuff can happen. After some combat and losing two members of obsidian squadron the Rebels made a full retreat. The Transport never showed up so the ship was still on Tatooine.

"Okay Obsidian squadron we are going to chase down the few remaining rebel pilots and hunt them down"

"HELL YA" came from the other pilots.

The Rebel ships flew past the dilapidated tower. The TIE's followed suit. Galak was taking the lead and flew next to the tower. But unknown to him the Rebels left a Conners net. Galak's ship became entangled in the net and plummeted to the sandy dunes out side of the space port. Galak's ship slammed into the dune. Galak's crash site was seen from the tower that Atridian was in. The other TIE pilots chased down and killed the other rebel ships and returned to the blockade without even caring what happened to Galak.

Star Wars Role Play 2 (Currently Ongoing) - Page 3 Empty Re: Star Wars Role Play 2 (Currently Ongoing)

Post by Atridian Thu Dec 17, 2015 9:57 pm

Atridian wouldn't have believed what he was seeing right now if someone had simply told him about it; red and green lasers danced back and forth across the sky above him as the rebel and imperial forces collided with each other. The team was busy rolling up their parachutes back into their backpacks; totally unconcerned with the battle playing out in the sky above. Atridian leaned over the side of the building and stared at the now present hole in its side where an X-wing had crashed into it literally minutes ago; it was odd that in just the span of fewer than ten minutes so much destruction had occurred.
Atridian shifted his head over to the lone TIE fighter, that had been unlucky enough to get shot down, resting, half-buried, in a dune all alone. There was something about it that struck Atridian, yet he couldn't tell exactly why at first; the more he looked at it with his magnified helmet optics, the sooner the answer dawned on him. He knew that ship. He'd seen it before; it was nearly identical to every other TIE except it had a few telltale marks that made it stand out abruptly to him.
That was Galak's TIE. the imperial who had stopped them for questioning from before; Atridian was sure of it without question. He could even detect his unique presence in the force when he reached out to him; calm, content, and peaceful, despite all that was happening.

"It really hit the fan tonight, huh sir?" Flak had approached Atridian and matched his gaze on the downed TIE."Who's the lucky sap who got dusted over there?"

"Our acquaintance, Galak," Atridian started feeling a weight start to push down on his chest.

"Really? Well, if it is him, then that's pretty shitty luck. I liked that guy; he didn't have that 'I just wanna punch you in the jaw' imperial face that most of 'em do," Flak said.

Atridian had liked him too, despite Galak's best efforts to make him feel otherwise. He was a bright, chipper, charismatic, kid who probably, given time, become a real ace that no one would be able to match. Now, it was gone; he was gone. No; he wasn't. Atridian felt his live energy still emanating from his body; the kid wasn't dead just yet. He faced a short dilemma, wondering what to do about Galak; but in the end, one more skilled pilot couldn't hurt.

"Vector, Vector. This is Atridian," he held his hand to his helmets comms."I need you to fly over to these coordinates and retrieve anyone you find there. I don't care if you gotta bust out the crowbar and plasma torch; get me whoever is there out, alive. Atridian out."

The team had already set up their rappelling equipment by the time Atridian returned his attention to their mission; Yorrick was breathing pretty heavily over the teams comms, but he was still holding out pretty well for having just dropped five-thousand feet out of the sky.

"In place, Atridian. Ready on your go order, sir," October said, carrying a serious tone of pure professionalism that came with countless missions of critical importance.

Atridian attached himself to his line and stood ready to rapidly descend."Don't ever say I didn't do you any favors, Galak. GO!"

They all jumped at the same time; dropping twenty-five feet in three seconds and swung through giant open windows. Atridian waved his hand forward and the team started moving down the long hallway in front of them; they clung to either side of the hallway in four-man bunches, with Atridian and Yorrick being the odd two going down the middle. It wasn't till they rounded the corner that anyone made a sound; a group of gangsters, fifteen in total, were frantically strapping armor to themselves and grabbing as much ammo from a row of lockers as they could carry.
When their eyes met, both groups simply froze for a second; Atridian's men were faster, though. Hyde had leveled his rotary blaster on them already; Hyde did too, and the rest were only a fraction of a second behind them.

"Suck laser!" Hyde yelled as he let out a torrent of blue plasma bolts from his blaster, shredding through the first five gangers who were reaching for their own guns only four feet in front of him.

It was an instant firefight as both groups unloaded on each other; Atridian drew his lightsaber and hacked the leg off a Trando who had his sights on Flak but was too slow to pull the trigger before Atridian reached him. He blocked a collection of incoming lasers as he rounded up on two more hostiles and diced them up like koi fish; Flak rammed his rifles butt into the jaw of a woman then dispatched her with a quick round before unloading on three more who were trying to set up an E-Web turret.
October was swinging his vibroblade left and right, bring downing bodies with every thrust as he shot his Deece one-handed at two weequays who tried blowing him away with a pair of scatterguns. Yorrick blasted two gangsters in a single burst then picked off one who was across the hall trying to rake pot-shots at Arcade; Atridian made a note of his efficiency for later. Flak and Stinger criss-crossed their streams of fire as they dropped an entire group of 10 gangsters who came running around the corner behind them, to reinforce the ones they were attacking no doubt. Hyde, Nex, and Keenan were now sweeping the remaing hostiles with concentrated blaster-fire that turned their cheap body armor to chunks of broken metal as they all gave a quick cry before sinking to the floor, seeping blood from the dozens of holes riddling their bodies. It seemed like it lasted hours to Atridian, but, just as quickly as it had begun, the fighting was over. His men stood while the fifteen unlucky gangsters lay all around them in smoking heaps; even at point blank, they were still the most impressive damn soldiers he'd ever seen.

"So I take it stealth is just out the window now, huh" Flak said.

"Fraid so, ner vod," replied Stinger, totally calm and level like usual after a fight."We didn't try really hard either."

"Wouldn't have it any other way, honestly," Arcade said, ejecting his spent clip and digging a fresh one out of his belt pocket.

Atridian flicked twice to beckon them and they immediately spread out to search all the rooms on the current level. The sweep was done in under less than two minutes; nothing. He betted that most of the gangsters were probably on the lower levels getting prepped to put up a fight; in case, the fighting above spread onto the ground too. The team regrouped before heading toward the large staircase leading down to the second story; Atridian couldn't see them, but he felt multiple life signatures in the force on this floor. All frantic; all scared; all panicking. It made him a tad bit uneasy; unpredictable enemies were always the most dangerous, and they were walking into a den filled with dozens of them. Atridian checked his blaster pistols status to make sure it was full charged; they'd kill every last one of them if it came to it, and he knew it wouldn't even take an hour to do.

Star Wars Role Play 2 (Currently Ongoing) - Page 3 Empty Re: Star Wars Role Play 2 (Currently Ongoing)

Post by Atridian Fri Dec 18, 2015 5:32 pm

Flak really hit the nail on the head with what he said on the roof; it had really hit the fan tonight. Atridian fired his blaster in rapid succession before ducking down behind cover as four red bolts crossed over his head from behind him. The team had engaged the gangsters on the second floor and, like he had sensed, they was a whole lot of them.
They found themselves stuck in the middle of one of the hallways, with only two lines of hard, four-foot high, durasteel, crates for cover and enemies firing on them from both ends of the hallway. They were pinned, for the time being. October and Arcade lit up seven targets that tried to run across to the other side of the hall, dropping them with a wet thud, they both instantly ducked as the top of the crate was sparked with returning fire from the rest of.
Hyde gunned down about a dozen gangsters who tried, in vain, charging their post with a quick burst from his rotary blaster then slotted three more who stuck their heads out of cover to see if their comrades had made it. Yorrick was dropping multiple baddies with quick, and accurate, headshots as they appeared around each corner one by one; he had slapped down a total of 11 gangsters before taking a knee and reloaded his blaster. Stinger, along with Yorrick and Nex, jumped up together before laying down a thick field of suppressing fire at once on one end of the hall; a lot of gangsters were caught in their sights and slumped down to the floor, covered in multiple scorch marks.
Flak was already prepped with a grenade when Hyde stopped to reload and hurled two thermal dets down the hallway. Fire erupted then consumed the entire group of targets who had been there behind cover and vanished into nothing as the dets went off, sending a wall of flames toward Atridian's team. Atridian stood up, dropped five hostiles, then ducked again to avoid the multiple laser bolts that followed a second after. The team shifted and concentrated their fire on the remaining gangsters at the other end of the hall; they swarmed them in blue plasma fire as the combined fire of both Zillo and Rancor squad unloaded into them without mercy. In less than thirty seconds of sustained fire, the remaining group of gangsters were killed to the last man; a sudden lack of sound suddenly filled the corridors around them as Atridian's team finished firing.

"Damn, kid. You're better than you look with that E-11 in your hands," Flak said as he rose up from his crouched position."How many you bag? 15? 20?"

"I dunno, honestly. I was too busy trying not to get shot, and not shake myself to pieces with adrenaline to notice," Yorrick stood up but his hands were visibly shaking.

'You'll get used to it, Yorri. Happens to everyone during their first hit of battlefield, life or death, dose of good ole adrenaline," Stinger said as he flipped over a body and started digging through his pockets."I expected you to just shit, or piss, your pants by now; so you're doing way better than I expected you'd do."

Yorri. They already sounded like the kid was growing on them; Atridian couldn't tell just then if that was a good thing, or a bad thing for them all. One thing was clear, though: Yorrick could handle himself in a firefight, just like Alea had said he could. His armor was already less shiny since the rooftop; sparks, grime, a bit of blood, and pieces of wood from the walls were decorating his armor in a beautiful, battle-damaged, way that seemed more alluring to Atridian than any factory-fresh armor ever could.
Two flicks; they split up again and started searching the floor like the last one. Atridian took Zillo team and sent Yorrick off with Rancor; three rodians emerged from a doorway ten feet from Atridian's postion, looking surprised at him, rather than aggressive. Guess they hadn't planned on running into him. Atridian twisted his arm and brought it down on the first rodian he reached, chopping him vertically in half from the waist up; he had his blaster aimed and fired on the next one before he even got to make a sound.
It's forehead turned charcoal-black as the bolt shot through it's head at point-blank range; the rodian jerked its head backward, violently hitting the wall before dropping down to the floor without making a sound. The remaining alien Atridian simply severed in two with a shift right so his lightsaber sliced it diagonally across the chest with his full weight behind the blow. He ran into the room with Zillo on his heels then quickly scanned it for anything important looking; it was almost pitch black, but Atridian still was able to detect rapid movement behind a desk sitting at the center. Atridian Force-gripped it and tossed the desk out of the rooms window then charged forward to grab whoever had been hiding behind it. He flicked on his Night vision to see a middle aged man staring right back at him with a weathered, and grizzled, face of someone who, without a doubt, head been in a lot of fights.

"Quick: gimme something useful before I decide to kill you," Atridian tapped his wrist as if a watch was there."Clocks ticking, buddy. And the longer we stay, the longer the guys here get to figure out they've got some baddies storming their castle. So spit whatever ya got out."

"How about some intel regarding a certain doctor regarding a certain subject about, oh I don't know; cloning?" the man got up without a hint of worry on his face, despite having five blasters trained on him.

"You know somethings about the doc?" Arcade asked, a slight clicking over the teams comms were his back teeth hitting together in annoyance.

"Oh, yes, I would say I very much do," the man's relaxed face and posture disturbed Atridian somehow in a way he couldn't explain."You're looking at the man who put the word out that she's in the area around here."

"Good. Saves us the time of searching the rest of this place," Atridian grabbed the man by his collar and slammed his fist into his face with a wet thwack sound, knocking him completely unconscious.

He hefted him over one shoulder and pinged Rancor teams comm link."Rancor, Rancor. This is Atridian; we found what we're looking for. I repeat, the package has been secured. Prepare to bang out to the roof for extraction. Over." Atridian felt slightly uneasy after he finished; he didn't even know if this guy was telling the truth or not.

"Copy that, sir. Rancor acknowledges," it was Octobers voice he heard over the comms."Be advised: we spotted another possible HVT in our sweep. Human female; age: in late forties, possibly. She bolted when she saw us and we had to deal with her Trando escorts before chasing after her. We're currently right outside the room she went into; heavy-duty supply closet from the looks of it. Standby: preparing to breach and capture the target."

Atridian and Zillo squad moved out of the office room and into the sleek hallway toward Rancor squads location three hundred and sixty feet from their position. Atridian activated his Telecomm link and saw the feed of five helmet cams; Arcade was up against the wall with Flak and Yorrick across from him. They stacked on the door with their weapons loaded and leveled at chest height; Stinger moved up and placed a strip of plastic breaching charges on the doorframe then ran back past October and stopped behind at Whilly's back. October sounded off a quick countdown then a bright flash covered the screens as the charges went off, but Atridian heard noises that indicated they had immediately moved in. When the feed resolved; he saw five screens with weapons aimed at nothing but a giant pile of boxes and empty fuel tanks.

"What the...? She ran in here; where the hell is she?" October sounded more worried than frustrated as he spoke; he moved forward and looked through a few rows of crates, scanning for any sign of life.

"Jeez; this closet isn't a closet. It's the size of our cargo hold back on the ship; shabuir, she could be anywhere in this place," Stinger said in a lowered whisper as he slowly scanned the room from the entrance.

"Maybe she had something cooking in the oven and had to go check it so it wouldn't burn," Flak said in his casual just-another-day tone that was reassuringly calm.

"Yeah that'd be it, ner vod ," Whilly said sarcastically as he watched October's flank while they moved."Probably was planning on having a good, homestyle, family dinner before we busted in and crashed the party."

"Think she was making something good? Like uj cake? I could really go for some-" a stack of boxes toppled over nearby and Flaks helmet feed jerked left.

"Get down! Get down!" Yorrick yelled over the comms and Atridian watched his feed show him push Flak toward the ground and jump straight forward; landing on a screaming and yelling women with a strange device clutched him her hand.

Atridian watched for a moment then suddenly all five of Rancor squads helmet feeds cut out into static; there was a loud rumble he heard from around the corner and he saw smoke pouring out of the doorway when they reached the hallway.

"Rancor squad, come in! Rancor squad, come in!" Atridian yelled in desperation as his brain filled with uncertainty."October? Whilly? Stinger? Flak? Yorrick? Do any of you copy? Repeat, are you guys alive? Please, answer....."
